OMEGA
SPEED TRAINING PHILOSOPHY |
 |
To most young
athletes speed is an invaluable quality that one
possess. Not just straight forward speed, but
speed in all directions. Coach Pete's Speed
Training philosophy is to train athletes using
every directional component possible (This
includes movements that mimic their sport
specific skills), and focusing not only on speed
work, but focusing on developing the athletes
overall strength, power, flexibility, elasticity
and tempo that are all critical and necessary
components to an athletes overall speed and
athleticism.
Using Coach Pete's techniques young athletes
will develop learning through neuromuscular
enhancement. This means the body will remember
a learned task the more it is performed. Coach
Pete brakes down every movement into fundamental
steps. Therefore, allowing the body to remember
each step it took to perform that move.
